Sorry for the question (and I know this will all change at some point) but…
Has anyone used a wondrous item as a base for another wondrous item. Like crafting a clock of protection then using that for a cloak of Elvinkind?
If you have tried it and know the results please let me know. I would like to add to enchantments to a cloak (not the one as in the example) and what to know if it can be done. Note in what I am trying to do both wondrous items use a wool cape.
