With the influx of new immigrants arriving in Sundren, Elijah begins to make it known the Legion is looking for a few good men... and women... and elves... and whatever. He doesn't try to sell them on the pay for the pay is low. He doesn't try to tell them that they will find glory in battle for many a day will pass with an uneventful patrol.
What he does tell them is that they will find camaraderie and brotherhood/sisterhood. They will find purpose in defending Sundren against her enemies. They will become part of something bigger than themselves. Endless hours spent in front of the Exigo fire will be a thing of the past. Sure, one can slay all the goblins that they want or hoard stags beyond measure. They can even become a hero in their own right. But esprit de corps is not something so easily found. And that is what Elijah offers... what the Legion offers.
Not everyone can be a Legionnaire. Only those that are stout in spirit and vigilant in mind are welcome. The question is... are you one of those that will be deemed worthy?
