Rumours circulate down the mountain that a small scouting party of duergar assaulted the gates of the dwarven hold of Whurest. The gate guards promptly raised the alarm while the heroic actions of guardsdwarf Urgden Greychops bought time for his fellows to retreat behind the stout defenses of the dwarven hold.
While the duergar looted goods left behind by the retreat indoors the dwarven occupants prepared a brutal counterstrike. Who knows how this battle would have gone, as it was the timely arrival of bark garbed elf put an end to the deep denizens dastardly deeds. Caught between the elven archer and the anger of Whurest the duergar menace was quickly wiped out.
