There has been talk around several campfires, in a few taverns, and in the wooded areas of the valley that more and more elves have been spotted. Some of the rumors have even gone so far as to suggest that they've taken up residence in hidden places in the Viridale and Mossdale, stoically facing their ancient enemy the orcs at in those places. Another rumor claims that one of the elven priests has personally encountered some of the dark forces and has begun gathering 'The People' to combat some corrupting force within the woods. Incidentally, most of the rumors seem to come from elven folk themselves.

Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.
