Among the western end of the valley where the influence of the Black Hand is most prevalent the guards on patrol are accompanied by recruiters, some of which double as priests to Bane.

They do their best to spread the word of Adeodatus that those brothers and sisters in faith who have not yet done so may find solace and kinship with fellow faithful in Sestra, but also make a point of explaining that while faith is important wealth is also respected.

Soldiers of fortune, those discontent with the old rulers of the valley, and the state of the valley currently are welcomed to serve the Black Hand or alongside it. The possibility of earning wealth, respect and greater rewards aren't reserved exclusively to worshipers of Bane, Colibrus and Myrkul.

While Banes' name carries fear and dread, it is becoming increasingly aware that order, discipline and law are at the fore-front of these Banites minds when considering the state of the chaotic maelstrom this valley has become.
Lauan - knight of Thay " I have no fear, and death is merely an inconvenience to me. I do not die until ordered to do so, I do not fall until every last bit of life has left me. I stand tall, proud, a Thayan knight."
