Garrison Blair, the commanding officer of a southeastern Viridale checkpoint has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. A professed friend of the druids, Salararius Blair had cordoned off a large section of the forest from adventurers to protect a rare species of glow-ants that dwell in the topsoil and are extremely susceptible to the tramplings of lunatic adventurers.
He was personally investigating reports of adventurers trespassing in the ant-home when he disappeared without a trace. A preliminary sweep of the area found nothing.
He was well-liked by his men and women and will be sorely missed.
