Virdale rumors

It was more of a fact than rumor of the Virdale legion fort being put under seige from both gates by the various groups of the mossclaw forest. Though driven off, it is said that the humanoids had a staging camp at an abandoned farmstead a few miles north of the fort and they and their leaders were then routed and killed by a strike force sent from the barracks.

Whispers circulate that the battleground has been cursed as a couple of hunters who had thought to loot the fallen bodies shortly after the battle had quickly fled as they claiim slain gnolls, goblins, orcs & ogres began to rise again.
