The 18th of Elesias was a busy day for Aquor, and the towns been abuzz of the going ons within the Thayan enclave. It would appear by mid morning that a fire broke out within the Thayan complex, those near the building swear they heard the sounds of concussive spells going on within the walls, and there were reports of strange looking birds flying out of the windows during this time.
Folks at the tavern say that it was a couple of rival archwizards duelling it out, while some other pass around word that there may have been a magical mishap resulting in the explosion and strange creatures being seen fleeing the compound.
Whatever it was, things are quiet now, but the Thayans aren't letting anyone on the premesis that aren't their own, including local nobles that support the Thayan wizards and government.
