*Out of breath from running... Canus reports directly to the Grove Keeper immediately after hearing about this incident from a direct witness*
Good day Master Druid,
I have run into a Priestess of Sune by the name of Ameena at the Viridale legion camp who got to talking about her and her parties run in with a coven of Ogre Shaman conjuring a Demon in the middle of the Mossclaw Meet.
She said there were many more Ogre, Orc, and Gnolls about than normal and that the Shaman were successful in summoning a Great Froglike Demon. Her party fought it, but were overcome and it got away.
As far as anyone knows it is loose in the forest. Furthermore, she suggested the possibility that this was not the first time such a unnatural deed has been performed in the Dale and tehre may have been more than one demon conjured.
I had her lead me to the very spot of the incident, which was in the Gnoll fort in the center of their ring of totems. I did not spot much unusual upon inspection though there were signs of a mass sacrifice in a fire pit and there are strange and indecipherable runes on their totems.
The only item her party was able to recover from the incident was some magic tome which had already been shipped off to the Mundusian Hands for further inspection.
Due diligence begs that I have her story corroborated, but in the meantime... please, warn all who enter the Glade to be extra vigilant in there dire times.
