A missing Excise man, and goods languishing upon the docks

Apparently a senior customs official based in Port Avanthyr has been missing for some days. This seems to have slowed almost to a halt the movement of goods originating from or destined for Neverwinter through the port, as the missing agent appears to have been responsible for overseeing the legality and tax status of all such goods. Unhappy sea captains and exporters grumble and sit idle while someone is found to take over the complex work.
