*Ru' leaves a letter for Hano at The Temple*
Hano,
If you have not heard already, a group of us were investigating a rumor of suspicious activity at the crossroads this night. We found the farmers out working at night!?!? We discovered that their cows were sick and almost dead. Then we became trapped, by the farmers we believe, in the barn and they attempted to burn us up! One of our group, a hin I think, found a trap door and we dropped down into a network of rooms with strange runes, blood painted walls, and vampires...
A battle ensued in the lowest room of this network with a vampire named Jhu'ral. We defeated him, and his minions, thank the Gods, and were able to escape.
The farmers were compensated for their loss by a hin named Sol, I believe, but I was speaking with the leader of their group and did not see if Sol was the one that turned over the stags or not (I will try to find out). I was trying to smooth over a situation that occurred. A hin, Cybil called him Logan, attacked one of the farmers claiming they tried to kill us by burning us and Cybil had to step in to stop him. He managed to get in a lucky shot and break a farmers leg and stabbed Rena Rose, but Cybil and I were able to heal them. While Cybil dealt with Logan I spoke with who I thought was the lead farmer.
Back to the Vampires. During our investigating we got a name: Zhur'kel Maen, the supposed man behind it all. He was conducting some bizarre research with the vampire named Jhu'ral as his tool to infect the farmers. Sywyn Elle has a log book that she found. And, we discovered a painting of a Paladin dressed in black, holding a woman draped in his arms, in a room with no coffin. I am curious as to what this Paladin may be named...
After what you spoke to Cybil and I about the other night I felt it imperative to inform you of these activities. Your help in this matter is needed as well. I will try to find you again, but you can leave word word with the Keeper of the Grove if you wish to speak with me.
