*A number of packets are sent out from Jimmy's dice den, the lodging place of Elric Gallows. The packets contain a number of letters addressed to leaders of the numerous factions of Sundren. The letters are written on expensive Vellum, with gold caligraphy at the edges. The script is bold and edged in silver.*
*The letters are addressed to: Lady Tao, Mistress of Sundren's Thayan Enclave; Marcus Vae, Steward of Sundren; Elrick Damascus, Paladin of Helm; Ramas Sepret, Lord of the Exigo Syndicate; and Caspar, Balthasar, and Melchior, leaders of the Triumvirate.*
The letters begin:
"The most esteemed ______________;
Please let me send my sincere wish that we may discuss an issue pertaining to the newly created organization named the Arcanus Liberus.
But first, let me introduce myself. I am Elric Gallows, singer of tales, lore master, and one of the leaders of the Arcanus Liberus. I am one of the original founders of this newly minted organization and have been chosen to talk with you concerning the Arcanus Liberus.
Let me tell you a bit about our organization. Our primary goal or tenant is to maximize the amount of arcane knowledge shared throughout Sundren and it's surrounding lands. We believe magic should, nay, must be shared by all that would choose as their vocation the magical arts.
We gladly share information about the arcane, about sources of arcane knowledge and spells freely amongst ourselves, and help other members to pursue their owns studies when practical. We also offer instruction in the arts arcane to those new to the magical arts. We feel this is a most important part of our tenants. We do not want untutored mages creating havoc in our lands. This benefits the government, the local populace, and mages in general.
The only qualifications for membership is the proven ability with arcane magic and that you are not a wanted criminal. We do not tolerate criminals in our organization.
I believe it would be beneficial for both parties to meet and discuss our organization and how we may be able to help each other. It would also be a chance to answer any questions you may have concerning the Arcanus Liberus.
