  • A sealed letter left at a Nobel house, addressed to the right person

    Brother,

I regret to tell you, I do not agree with you plans to better the Valley. It's just going to get a lot of good people killed. I know you mean well. A quote from Brother Dovenian.
The end does not justify the means, Michael.
I am going to put a end to your plans, but I will not put you or your family at risk of harm. I shall write a letter to the state about rumors of a possible coup but not mention your name, deity, or your reasons. Instead I will put the reasons why many would side with you. The suffering of the people in the cheep side and all the ignored or rejected plans the people came up with to help Sundren. I will also write letters to all those you would seek to back you. Again keeping your name out of it and making sure there is no trail to you or those you care about. If you or anyone were to seek them, then you will be exposed. Putting you and those you care about in gave danger.

I know your just trying to follow your gods tenets and that's amiable of you. Another quote, not really sure who wrote this one.
The road to hell is paved on good intentions
Personally I don't agree with that quote or maybe i just do not understand it. Another quote that may mean the same thing. I do understand this one, and need to apply it more to the things I do. A quote from Johanna Patson.
I'll paint this bench yellow, while he's paintin it green. The paint is green but the brush is yellow in 'is hand. An' ye point to it..An' 'e says:I'll paint it yellow aft'r. An' ye go' why firs' paint it green? An' he goes: bench's my friend
Your following one tenet but breaking it at the same time. Also your ignoring your other tenets. I do not judge you, for I am guilty of the same thing. So focused on one, and ignoring the others. For me it's pride. I refuse to listen to others, thinking I know more then them, It's arrogance. I try to follow tenets but fail to reflect my gods image. I see it now.

We are mere men, and none are perfect, though we try, as we should.

    Your brother in allied faith,
    Michael Zollas
