A missive delivered to Dain Tornbrook

Dear, Tornbrook.

My sister was almost taken from me the other night... With what evidence we have and what we've been told - we believe it to have been a group of vampires. There was three - and they gave off a odd filling to me and my companions. Upon the crossroads Inn, they entered and one immediately seemed to chose my sister. At first I thought him a flirt, but from view of all three's boots matching upon entry - and one acting as a stranger...

I digress: I was told by the cleric to seek you out, a "Croix" family or something could help me in protection of my sister. I am no Paladin as we know - but if I can help fight evil that is where I would like to learn. I will await you at the temple tomorrow, hopefully you can assist me sir - I know you have no reason too, but I hope.

Lastly: There was one specific, a name, Ruby. She was beautiful with red hair - she was shady however. Some weird cloak as I know not of, but she walked the room and instantly drew eyes from all the men - including myself obviously. The cleric said you put her in the ground once... I believe she is back.
