*A middle-age, tattooed, and hardened male dressed in the steel and colors of Thay's knights delivers a letter to the Blackwood Company as per Ramza's instructions. The envelope encasing the letter is sealed with wax having Thay's symbol indented into the wax's center; the symbol is a mark of power, prestige, and money for those within the enclave and Aquor. Within the envelope is an expensive parchment dressed in delicate handwriting. The contents are as follows:*
"To whom it may concern,
The recent, abrupt changes in the valley's political and economic structure have drastically hindered the security of trade and immigration across the entire valley. This not only harms the enclave, but every denizen of Sundren who was not lucky enough to be swept away into the sky with the city of Sundren. Furthermore, with the abandonment of the Legionnaires, there is no authoritative figure to turn to for a remedy to this problem. I am Ramza Xantheus, a Red Wizard of Thay, and I am looking to purchase a list of capable mercenaries from your ranks in order to establish some semblance of authority across the roads.
When hired, the main objective of the mercenaries will be to systematically hunt down and eradicate the footpads and brigands that occupy the roads from the Gate of the Sunderer to Aquor and Sestra. If there is an organization overseeing the brigands, then gaining and sharing all intelligence on the organization will be asked of as it will be imperative to seeing that the brigands never return.
