A letter written in the scrawl of what one can only assume is a prepubescent nincompoop arrives at Lasvi Norreitryn's quarters wherever the heck she is staying. For some reason, the author has decided to transcribe his stutter into the text, perhaps because he doesn't understand the concept of written language.
"D-dear Miss L-lasvi,
H-how are you doing? I am doing okay. I have been up in the S-spine. I f-forgot I didn't have enough g-gold to make the return trip after ... what h-happened.
So I'm h-helping out the G-grizzly's Embrace Inn until I c-can make enough money to come b-back to town. It's k-kinda boring, but I have p-plenty of time to read my books! Everybody's r-really nice, but that m-mechanical spider is kinda s-scary. It keeps ticking and whirring. Sometimes I t-think it f-follows me around ...
I h-hope you're feeling better too. M-maybe I'll come visit you when I have the 50 stags for Mister S-samuel? Only if y-you don't mind!
The letter is signed "Rian," which is crossed out a few times and replaced with "Ryan." A smiley
accompanies the signature.
