He was drenched from his beard to his toes, but it hardly bothered Peeli as he stepped off the boat and onto the dock. He had seen many rainy days in the wilderness since he had fled from his duties in Mirabarr. It had stormed for most of his trip, and while the rain did little to bother him, his Dwarven stomach was better suited to a mug of ale than the rolling of waves. He checked to make sure his gear was all secure, and continued into the rain shrouded city. He moved carefully from shadow to shadow examining any not of his own race carefully. Typical greedy humans he thought to himself after seeing one man come away with another's coin purse unnoticed. He strolled calmly in the direction of the thief and then the original man, causing two unremarkable collisions and leaving the coins with their rightful owner. Shaking his head he meandered into the wilderness, wondering bitterly which was more inportant, following honor and duty or doing what was right. The winds began to blow away the thundering storm, but they could do little to clear his clouded mind.
