Dear followers of the Triad,
I have heard much in recent months of a looming Banite threat in this fair country. The rumours have such potency they have trailed all the way to a small temple of Torm in Cormyr from which I hail. There I served as a paladin, protector of the people and upholder of the law.
The highest ranking priest there has sent me to investigate this threat and offer you my aid in any way I am able. I wish to fulfill my duties in this regards as a paladin and ask for nothing in return but a meager diet to live and maintain my strength, as well as lodging. My oath to protect Sundren against these evils are resolute.
If you have the resources, I would ask the aid of an Inquisitor in order to help research the Banites and the source of their terrors. I look forward to meeting your representatives and await response at the Inn at Port Avanthyr.
