Summary: Mathius, of the Rhinehart family, has left a bitter taste in the mouth of his liniage. He has dropped all ties to his family's Patron Tyr, and left without a word. He seeks self enlightenment and wishes to open up his own shop.
He's watched the city's local blacksmith create some beautiful works. Such skill was magic, or so it seemed. Seeing this Mathius payed for lessons in the craft. His family were those of knights, so he already had the muscle for the work. Obtaining this knowledge, and still practicing, he realized how much more powerful knowledge was over the sword.
Mathius studies to better himself daily, but the old ways of the sword always beckon to him from time to time.
