The Tale of Growbag
*Tass telling the story to Innkeeper of the Four Lanterns while a group listens in off to the side*
.....We crept into the caves as quietlies as we coulds, the stench if possiblies was even worse than usual. Just as we wents around the corners, Ithil stoppeds as if hearings something from a distance. Try as I mights...I couldnts hears anythings but Ithil's hearing was always better than mines. He quietly tolds me to hides and we darteds behind a large boulder. Ithil whispered in my ear "I hear goblins comming..and they keep saying ...Growbags..or something like that and they are comming this way!
I grippeds my daggers and sure enoughs three goblins stepped through the doorway! I pounced out from behind the rock and strucks one from behinds as it went after Ithil and down it went, the two others tooks a littles longer but it wasnt too long then they were all taking dirt naps with the first. Then...I looked ups..and ups...before me was the biggest goblins I had ever seens!
It towered over us...easily twice our size if not mores! Its limbs were all deformed and twisted...I hesitated a minutes then struck and stabbed its toes...Ithil came and hit its hards with his flaming Sickle and called out to summon Sice, our furry four legged companion. Sice wagged his tail as he saw us then saw the giant Goblins and darted in to bite a leg. The three of us workeds on the giant goblin when evens more goblins appeared! Luckily they were nots as big. Finally the goblin fell and we all jumped out of the way before it crushed us and we worked on finishing off the rest.
Afters a short rest to catch our breaths, I searched the body of the giant goblins and founds an odd purple bottles. Neither one of us could figure out what it was, after some debate, Ithil saids we should bring it to the grumpy sage at the gates so I put it in my pack carefully and we set off to the gate.
As we neared the gate boths of us were takens backs at the changes that had been made....I hads been sicks for a long time with Ithil careing for me, but obviously times had not stood stills. Both of us kepts walking alongs the path...hopings that Rodwick was still there. Finally...at the very end we spotted the grumpy ones in front of a large wagon.
After a little convincing he decided to take a looks at it..and no I didnts take anytings of his! After taking off the stopper and sniffing it he staggered. I looked around nervously...thinking it wouldnt be goods if he droppeds dead at our feets, but he straightened ups and quickly put the stopper back on. Both of us waited eagerly for him to identifies the potion and thens he said it smelled likes...*pauses* Ogre Sweats! Buts worse...and was probbally mades froms grounds up Ogre glands....turning a little green I gingerly took the bottle backs. However he wasnts positive and said to takes it to Sandra..ans Alchemists in Sundren City. After packings the bottle wells away from my dresses, we both sets off to finds the Copper Quaffs.
After entering the district we founds the shop easily, I opened the door and peekeds insides, sures enoughs their was a talls woman busily working. After quickly tellings her why we had came, I carefullies pulled the bottles from my pack..I didnts wants no Ogre glands spillings in there! She tooks the bottles and set to work...boths Ithil and me almost gagged as she poured a little into her beakers. I climbed up onto the counters to get a better looks, then jumped down quickly as she turned arounds.
She saids that Rodwick was pretty much rights...its was potions thats would makes things bigger...but heavily deforms the ones usings its. She offered to buy its from us and both of us quickly aggreed...I didnts want to keeps no ogre glands in my packs!..evens if they dids say its wasnts made froms privates parts. We took the money and lefts quickly before she decided to changer minds.
