Story of Sylloven - the moon elf.
Having been born out of wedlock by a union of priestess and nobility,
she was adopted by a subservient family with great ties to the weave. By the time she was 23 they realized how much she looked like her parents and what trouble this could cause for many. Vamiana's foster parents left the havens.
Intent on raising her away from the trouble she would face the family was forced to live among humans and other races for many years.
Her father and mother taught her as best they could about the many strengths and weaknesses of the other races and of tolerance for religions and beliefs different than her own. Sylloven showed remarkable beauty and control of the weave and eventually came to worship Mystra.
However at the age of 30 tragedy struck as it always does. In a small town outside a temple of Selune whose priestesses had shown the family compassion, agents of Shar struck. It may have been some sort of ritual, but on that night the Selune priestesses were murdered along with her parents.
In a wicked display, they locked Sylloven in the bath house part of the temple where they had amassed all the bodies and chained her to a pillar where they left a device that maintained an area of magical darkness. Not wanting to remain in the pools with all the blood and death, she would try to crawl out to no avail as the smell slowly became worse. Morning would come, but not for her.
Hoping to return several days later after they had -broken- her to make use of her power and loss. Their plan was foiled when a small militia from a nearby town came and freed her, trying to put this all behind her Sylloven has come to Sundren for a fresh start.
It is unknown if the agents of Shar still search for her, and memories of slippery blackness and loss consume her dreams often.
