Ryder watched as the temple of Kelemvor was swallowed by the fires the Advent had begun. For Sundren it was the Advent's victory today...
Many felt strong emotions swell up at this sight, the image of the flames filled their hearts with hate. Yet at the end only one remained behind, looking at the scene with a stony gaze...
He was unlike the others. He did not hate the Advent. He felt no loss as the temple burned. Too other's he may even seemed mostly unaffected by what had happened... But so few truly know what lurks in the hearts of man...
"Why?!"
Somewhere far away in an open plane where no one else tread, Ryder fell to his knees.
"Why am I weak?!"
His entire body was tense, He clenched down hard on his own teeth. His body began to shift and shake, as if a tremor was bursting out of him. He looked down at his trembling hands.
"Even after all the power I've gained.... Even after how strong I've become! It's not enough! I'm still weak! Why?!"
He looked up to the starry sky, his eye's full of hate for himself.
"I need more power! More!! It's never enough! So long as anyone is stronger then me... I can never stop!"
He gripped his face, his eye's wide. He chuckled to himself.
"I'll show you... I'll show all of you! I'll become stronger then anything! Then no one will ever be able to tell me what to do! No one will ever be able to take anything away from me!"
