Those with a keen eye digging through the Sundren City library might come upon an old and tattered journal, dating back to the founding of Sundren. This leatherbound journal has severely frayed and faded pages, but some of them can be made out. The journal itself appears to be that of a soldier who was alongside Mundus' expedition during the founding of Sundren.
"This valley is unlike anything I've ever seen before... Gnolls, Orcs, Goblins. Bloody-hell, this place is infested with them. I cut down three or four today with the help of the captain. Mundus says we press on. I begin to worry that my final resting place will be as fertilizer for the trees in these lands."
The pages ahead seem unreadable.
Lore DC25
"Days, months... years... how long will I dwell in this Necropolis? When will I be allowed to rest. So tired... how many years have passed since my death? I died with honor and respect, why am I forced to continue on?"
Many pages have been either ripped out or faded, it is a wonder anything was legible.
