10/29/2012 I took my first forray into the sewers today, thinking I was well prepared. I decided to explore using my freshly bought torch and realized I could light it. So I began to search for the alleged lair of evil. My first encounter with anything beyond muck and dirty walls was a bandit of sorts. I prepared to cast offensive magics and hesitated long enough for the enemy to strike a devstating blow. Realizing that I did not have the luxury of time I began to cast my most potent magics and caught off guard in a hurry forgot to cast defensively. The Bandit interrupted my casting and landed two more decisive strikes.
