  • Taking Out the Trash.

Shutting the door behind him, Mythradin makes his way to the bar and asks the balding half orc for a bottle of Seltri. The ever unfriendly bartender grunts and hands him a bottle, only after the fifteen talons have been produced. The familiar smell of dried blood and cheap ale lingers about the gambling hall of Jimmy's. "Such an unsavory place, but I kind of like it." Mythradin thinks to himself with a slight smile.

He makes his way to a table in the corner and pulls out a chair, seating himself in clear view of the door and only a few tables down from a group of rowdy thugs, playing a game of dice. "Perfect positioning, lets see if these shits have anything useful to say." He says under his breath with a slight chuckle. Sitting down and placing his bottle of Seltri on the table, along with a smaller glass. He lights the woolen wick with the snap of his fingers and waits for the wick to burn completely before choosing to shake his drink. In the mean time Mythradin is also relaxing and letting his ears soak in the atmosphere around him.

The soft steps of the rather lithe waitress Kerrie, the long heavy breaths of Jimmy the half orc. The scraping of Bob the Bouncers leather boots, the clicking of the bone dice, and the sharp loud words of the rowdy thugs. After some time of drinking and eavesdropping he finds something that sparks his interests. Mythradin leaves his drunken state behind at the table with his half drank bottle of Seltri. As he leaves the gambling hall he brings his hood up allow his eyes to adjust to the suns high noon glory.

After a couple minutes he pulls his hood back, with his eyes adjusted to the sun he makes his way through the entertainment district to a back alley where there is an entrance to the sewers. "Perhaps some upstart kids trying to start their own business, I will frighten them only, to scare them off ... though I may have resistance if they are more than just a couple of kids trying to make a talon here or there." He says to himself. To be continued ...
"Service to a cause greater than yourself is the utmost honor you can achieve."
