  • A visit to the mountain-top.

The magically-enlarged Half-Orc, clad in not only the protective shell of steel but of skin of stone and spider as well, flayed the ice-loving mephits and their elemental friends one by one. Along his side was truly a horrifying visage; a four-legged denizen of the lower planes.

A dozen meters back, the green and black-robed magus stood by and watched, curiously entranced with the Half-Orc's physical prowess. Perhaps it was envy? Admiration? Intimidation?

Regardless, the Half-Orc's blade sliced through his enemies like a hot knife through butter. The magus was slightly unsure whether it was his magical augmentation upon the man, or his innate strength.

"They were no match for you, Brother," the magus said to the Half-Orc once the battle subsided. "His hatred flows through you indeed.."

The Half-Orc lowered his weapon and nodded ominously, unaffected by the annoying frostbite brought upon by the frigidness of the path, thanks to the magus. The two continued, into the snow-white wasteland of the north. Besieged by many enemies who would have them relinquish their coin or their life, the magus continued to watch with sadistic enjoyment as the furious Half-Orc wrought pain and destruction to anything they encountered. Truly, this beast was a sight to behold...
