Praise the Great Storm!
It is with much happiness that I report of my safety and well being after having arrived in Sundren as ordered 6 months ago. I am more or less fitting in with the local city brood and have not been met with an overly hostile reaction from most that I happen across in my wanderings. You will be glad to know that sister is doing well and is utterly absorbed in the Great Druid runes and Wrath of Nature Tomes scattered about Sundren and in the Glade. She is keeping to herself as normal, but I expect this will change after she has run out of books to read.
Please know that we are eating well and sister says she can hardly see my ribs anymore! There are few elk kin and boar left in the valley but the fishing is surprisingly good and sister and I eat almost every day. Sister is still as brave and as beautiful as ever, and the shine of her fur is coming back after our harrowing month's long trek westward. We were nearly brought to ruin while traversing the Anauroch, a story I will save for my return to the Earthspurs.
As for the original plan, I am sorry to report that the situation with the various Glade, Warden, and Wrath tribes are not as we had anticipated. There appears to be nearly as much fragmentation, disarray, and open hostility between the differing nature tribes as there seems to be with all the pathetic tribes of city folk scattered about the once ordained valley. Further more, the various factions of nature tribes have formed strange alliances with whom we would deem as enemies to the lands and nature folk.
I have not yet happened across the one they call Damaria, but I will continue my search until the High Wolf Council bid otherwise or until my bones are beaten to dust by the ravage of time. I will continue refrain from causing any major turmoil or open hostilities with the Sundren folk until my orders bid otherwise.
I have gathered many friends from many tribes of both City broods and Forest tribes alike. I fear though that I have not gained any true alliances with any of the Glade tribes as we had hope as there appears there my not be any want for alliances in any of their leaders so far as I can tell. I have not gotten close enough to any of their leaders to inquire of this first hand. This opinion comes to me by the words and actions of the lesser officers and foot soldiers of the various tribes.
I have hopes that at home, our pack tribe is faring well in spite of the ceaseless dwarf expeditions, fanatical man crusades, and giant kin raids. Send news of the well being of the tribe at your earliest convenience.
Please give our litter siblings, Lupus's and my warmest regards. Let them know that the storm brews fury in our hearts and the memory of our loved ones puts the winds at our back always.
