He eye's the target with a steady gaze, bow pulled back, arrow nocked. As the arrow flies true to the target, he has already pulled back another arrow, ready to let it fly before the first even lands in the center of the target. So, what are you going to do now, Tigen? Again, another arrow flies towards the target. Your list of allies is dwindling, and your enemies grow more numerous by the day. You can't just keep going it on your own, Another arrow, and you can't keep ignoring me. Sooner or later, you have to acknowledge what I'm saying. A pause in the shooting, as if Tigen is considering whether or not to continue, then starts the process over, loosing arrow after arrow in rapid succession. Fine, pretend I'm not here. But your the one that came to ME when you needed to help the girl, so what are you going to do now that you can't even help yourself? At this, the last arrow flies wide, bedding itself into the hillside. What will I do, you ask? Well, spirit, I'll do whatever I have to. She matters too much to me for me to give up now. She doesn't love you, she never did. Why even bother? Just pack up and leave, they don't want you here, and this petty war isn't our concern. Tigen puts away his bow, and walks towards the road, heading to his daily ritual of fighting demonic forces. "Well, that's just not an option anymore, old friend. Someone has to do the dirty work, and we both know it's what I excel at. Besides, so what if she doesn't love me, that doesn't mean she isn't worth protecting." Your a fool. A brave fool, but still a fool. Sometimes I think I should have found a different spiritual to guide on his path. "Yes, well we are stuck with one another until this is all over, so just let me do what needs doing, and you can whine about it for eternity after it's over." Tigen pulls out his blade, enchants it with the spirit's of flame, and sets off to continue that which has no end.
