I find myself standing on the Sestra Falls Bridge looking out to sea with a gentle breeze in my face. This town has been ravaged from recent war. A community of people that have joined together for the better good. At the root of this community are the farmers that have endured damaged property, lost equipment and lives.
I was drawn to this situation as naturally as any desire in my life. I had to find help for these farmers. But how would i do that? Ahh, a thought began to form. A thought that would benifit all involved.
Farm equipment!
My blacksmithing talents in making weapons had become quite excellent, if i must say. I acquired these skills by watching and practicing at Foulbreath's forge in Port Avanthyr. Not to mention that some farm equipment is used as military weapons.
Scythe, kama, flail . . . yes yes "I CAN DO THIS!"
Sickle, shovel, rake and plow.
Plow!
Wait!
Without the plow there are no crops. A challenge for sure. I have seen regular plow blades, but never tried to make one. Times are dire and there are mouths to feed. Maybe in learning to make plow blades i could improve on their design. What if i made a double sided plow blade. In this way the fields could be ready for seed sooner.
Oh no, i just had another ideer. I will use sundrite steel to make plow blades. Ahh yes! Sundrite steel will cut through partially frozen fields so that they are ready for spring seeding even sooner.
But wait!
I can't let anyone know i am using sundrite steel to make plow blades. What i will do is make only one such plow per year. That way it will be a slow introduction over time and no cause for suspision. After all, sundrite steel is a prized commodity in these parts. I would not want the farmers to attract to much attention.
I turn to my left and head past a statue of Ilmater, then through the doors of Corps de Grace headquarters. I wave to the sentry. Using a key, i pass through three more doors and sit at an unfamiliar desk. I search for some paper and snatch the well used quil.

Cirion,
I have given the ideer of forging epuipment for the farmers great thought. We need to move on this matter soon. Here is a list of requirements and ideers.
+ A working forge with exaust flume, blacksmith bench, anvil and cooling trough.
+ Tongs, pokers, spades, etc. do not need molds and can be made simply enough.
+ You have collected most of the molds we will need except the one for a plow. Without the plow there can be no farming. If you could, have some one design a double sided plow, it will pay off in the end.
+ Internship program to sellect an apprentice blacksmith from one of the local farming families. We can only hope someone wants to be more then a mutton head.
+ Who is going to distribute the items? Maybe the sentry at the front of our headquarters.
+ All equipment will be of weapons grade quality. No short cuts allowed.
Lets Forge Ahead!

I place the letter so that it's leaning up against the ink well.
But not that it will be damaged from ink blotching.
I remove my gloves from my belt and put them on.
As i am heading to the door i say "Lets see what those menacing orcs are up to!"
