Overall Appearance

This tall, comely, dark-skinned woman wears red lipstick and a complicated braided hairstyle. Her armor is highly polished and her clothes well pressed. Around her neck hangs a holy symbol depicting a lovely ivory-skinned woman with red hair.

Overall Personality

Miyu is generally friendly and upbeat, an apparent mark of inexperience with many of the troubles in the world. She smiles when she is conversing and loves to flirt with those who are receptive and she perceives as a low risk of becoming overbearing or worse. Like many Sunites, she suffers from a bit too much vanity, but she strives to temper it with her appreciation for all the beauty in the world. While clearly having a strong love of all beautiful things, she seems to be particularly enthused about beautiful armor, probably due to her being not only a Sunite, but also a Turmian.

Background

Miyu was born and raised on a farm just outside of Alaghôn, the capital city of Turmish. She had a fairly normal childhood, learning to read and write at the local temple of Tyr, playing hide-and-seek in the city with other children, and tending crops as part of her farm chores. Her favorite times were during the Harvest Festivals, and she especially loved the dances put on by the local church of Lliira.

When she was first blossoming into the young woman she would ultimately grow into, a foreign man came to Alaghôn and performed ballads at the Lliiran temple. Miyu found herself besotted with this fair-skinned, beardless man. He was a man like none in Turmish, who among the trading class keep finely groomed square beards. The foreigner was a traveling minstrel and priest of Sune.

Having no love of farming, Miyu took Sune as her new patron goddess, and enlisted in training to join one of the many militias of Turmish. She loved the beautiful designs in the armors, especially, and discovered from study of Sune through the Lliiran temple that defenders of Sune's temples also favored beautiful armor.

When Miyu came of age that men of Alaghôn started to seek her hand in marriage, she shocked her parents by refusing every offer. After much prayer of guidance from Sune, Miyu decided she would leave her home and head westward. Her decision was confirmed to her with a scent of roses.

While she traveled, Miyu discovered that she was able to sense the taint of evil in the hearts of others, and a well placed strike of her flail was especially devastating to a lone ghoul that attacked her one night.

Sune had clearly sent the bard to inspire her, for she was now a paladin of Sune, and she swore in her heart that she would protect that which was beautiful and defend what was loved.

Allies, Enemies, & Other Associates

Ulriel Gabrieth: One of the first people that Miyu met after arriving in Sundren, this priest of Lathander has been nearly her constant companion. One of their first great deeds together was saving a woman from an evil necromancer in the old Legion tomb and interrupting his vile ritual, though sadly the necromancer escaped.

Tigen Amastacia: Miyu was introduced to Tigen by Ulriel, and is the first elven Paladin of Torm that she has ever heard of. They share a flirtatious friendship, and she has been grateful to have a companion that is familiar with the Valley, its people, and its recent history.

Pylia Dy'ner: Another of the first people that Miyu met after arriving in Sundren is the mysterious and fair Pylia. Miyu doesn't know much about her except that she is a wood elf from the Neverwinter area. She was also involved with stopping the necromancer in the old Legion tomb.
